What is Kiwanis?

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. Today, we stand with more than 550,000 members from K-Kids to Key Club to Kiwanis in 80 countries and geographic areas.

Each community has different needs, and Kiwanis empowers members to pursue creative ways to serve the needs of children, such as fighting hunger, improving literacy and offering guidance.

Membership in Kiwanis of Greater Pine Island

Members of our club enjoy having fun while serving the community and developing life-long friendships. Members attend club meetings, serve at community events and help with fundraising activities.

While we hope members are as active as possible, we know life is busy. 100% attendance is not expected, so don't be afraid to consider membership no matter your career or family situation.

Club Meetings

Meetings are held weekly on Wednesday mornings at Salty Girls Island Cafe, 10700 Stringfellow Rd., Ste 20, Bokeelia, FL 33922.  Optional breakfast begins 7:30 am and meeting begins at 8:00 am. Meetings typically feature a guest speaker, club business, and fun with the Sheriff, lasting 30-45 minutes.

On the third Wednesday of the month, a Board Meeting is held at the conclusion of the regular club meeting.

Guests are always welcome!
