Q: What is a “Supermarket Sweep”? 

A: It is a 10 minute timed run through the grocery store. You may fill your cart with as many food items as possible before your time is up. You take everything home at NO COST TO YOU! (Up to $1,000 in total cart value.) 

Q: Who does the Fundraiser Benefit? 

A: The Kiwanis Club of Greater Pine Island. These funds allow us to serve the children and community of Pine Island, Florida.

 Q: How do I get a ticket(s)?

 A: Tickets can be purchased at this website, directly from Kiwanis Club members and at various area businesses.

 Q: How will I know if I win?

 A: We will contact the winner after the drawing. 

Q: What if I win, but I’m not able to make it to the event or unable to run myself?  

A: You may designate an alternate runner that is over the age of 18.

Q: Can I bring family and friends?

A: Yes!  We urge you to bring them to help cheer you on, however only one person may run the event with no help from others.

Q: Are there additional rules and regulations?

A: Yes.  Limit of 10 minutes to gather groceries, up to $1,000. Limit 2 per item. Limit 2 beer, 2 wine items. Items that are exempt from the Sweep: tobacco products, lottery tickets and gift cards.  You must be 18 years of age to participate.
